GHP Approach

Over the years, Global Hospitality Partners has developed its unique approach towards the hospitality business. Its vision consists in looking to a Hospitality business by dividing it in to two distinct entities: the real estate and the operational management of the business. As each entity has its own characteristics and its own objectives, it seems essential for SHP to evaluate each segment separately, on its own, as a first step before analysing the business as a whole.

By consulting both, international and national operators as well as asset owners, Swiss Hospitality Partners enables to drive value within both segments, thus maximizing the whole asset value in the long run.

Through this approach, GHP aims to find an optimum model for value creation in both business segments, which is based on the following principles:

Operational Hotel Management

Hotel management is a business, with the end objective to produce a certain return over time.

The degree of profitability of returns in business is dependent on the concept and processes thereof, used to produce the expected sales result.

Real Estate / Asset Management

Being a hotel owner also means to manage a real estate asset with the objective to produce a certain value over time.

The asset management is done through a strict and calculated control over investment, financing, maintenance and design, with a smart and strategic management of the business life cycle.

The value increase of the asset is dependent on the investment processes and the strategy thereof, used to maximize future cash flows.

We believe in the combination of operational hotel management and hotel asset ownership, to achieve an optimum model and create real long term value.
